Heir of Fire
by Sarah J. Maas
Review by Josiah L.
This book is about the King’s Champion fighting for her peoples’ freedom. She has to put up with the hardship of being a person that must save her people, but when she finds out that they had been slaughtered, she starts to feel she hadn’t kept her promise to her greatest friend. The main characters are always trying to keep themselves alive. The names of the main characters are Celaena, Sardothien, the Crown Prince Dorian, and the main character is Chaol Westfall. It never says when or where exactly, but I have a good feeling this book takes place in medieval times.
I personally enjoyed this book and I liked that I never stopped reading because of the continuous action.
Celaena was my favorite character, because she was fighting for what is right.
I believe I related to the main character Chaol Westfall, who was going through a hard time with the King’s Champion (Celaena) not wanting to be around him, when he did so much for her.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone that likes action and fantasy because you’ll relate to one or all of the characters.
I personally liked the ending; however, I’m not going to spoil it. Another thing that I liked about this book was the title because it really suited Celaena.
I would give this book a rating of five out of five.
