The Truth About Forever

by Sarah Dessen

Review by Patience S.

This book is about a teenage girl who was obsessed with trying to be perfect after her dad (a big deal in her town) died but she starts to question whether perfection is really what she wants after meeting an unlikely group of friends.  I loved this book!  It was an eye-opener.  I loved that you don’t always have to plan things out because you’ll never be happy.  Wes was my favorite character mainly because I relate to him fairly well.  He’s an artist that’s not quite worried about being “understood.”  I would recommend this book because it’s the type of book you read when everything seems to fall apart and you need inspiration.
