This book is about a girl named Sophie, in the Congo, who tries save a monkey named Bondoo, but the government is messed up.  I enjoyed reading the book.  I like how the little girl cares so much about the monkey and gave her last dollar to have him.  She is my favorite character.  I related to the story because I care for animals.  I would recommend this book, because it will give you a different point of view of people.
