Homeboyz takes place in the summertime in California. the characters are Teddy, Micah, Officer Diaz , Pops and Mrs.Anderson. I enjoyed the book because it was about a kid who was headed down the wrong path and I can relate to it. Teddy and Micah were my favorite characters because they created a brother like bond. I can relate to Teddy because he lost a loved one and went through the juvenile system. I would recommend this book to other kids in Juvenile Justice System.
